Cadillac Key Types We Cut & Program
Cadillac security runs from the famous VATS resistor keys on classic DeVilles and Sevilles, through PK3+ transponders, to today's proximity fobs on the Escalade and XT models. We stock VATS keys in all resistor values plus current fobs, and program everything on site.

Cadillac Key Replacement by Model
Cadillac Escalade Key Replacement
Escalade fobs are the most-requested single key in our luxury work. Early trucks (through 2006) use PK3 transponder remote-heads; 2007–2014 adds better remotes; and 2015+ Escalades are proximity-fob-only with remote start, power liftgate and running-board control baked in.
Escalades work hard on the Strip — livery, VIP transport, resident flagships — and their fobs disappear at exactly the venues you'd guess. We program replacements in casino garages and porte-cochères routinely, deregister lost fobs so they're dead plastic, and cut spares for fleet operators on contract.
Escalade fob lost at a Strip hotel? We're at the resort corridors daily — call with the property name and we'll quote an ETA in minutes. ESV or EXT different? Same platform per year — all covered.
Cadillac CTS Key Replacement
The CTS moved through PK3+ remote-head keys (2003–2007), flip keys (2008–2013), and proximity fobs (2014–2019). The flip-key generation has the classic GM hinge wear; the proximity generation hides an emergency blade many owners never find until we show them.
CTS calls skew enthusiast: V-series owners wanting a track-day spare, used buyers with one fob, and worn ignitions on the first generation. All handled at your location, and V-series cars get the same coverage as the standard sedan.
CTS-V key different from CTS? Same key platform per generation — the supercharger doesn't change the chip. First-gen CTS ignition sticky? Common — we service the cylinder at the car.
Cadillac XT5 Key Replacement
Every XT5 (2017 on) is proximity-key: push-button start, hands-free liftgate, remote start on the fob. Replacement is a programming job we do at your driveway — and because the XT5 succeeded the SRX, we cover that model's 2010–2016 remote and flip keys under the same roof.
XT5 owners usually reach us for a second fob after a used purchase, or when the only fob starts responding intermittently after a hot Vegas summer in a pocket. Heat is hard on fob batteries and boards; we test which one failed before recommending anything.
XT5 fob flaky after summer? Battery first, board second — tested in that order at the car. SRX covered too? Yes — 2010–2016 SRX keys and remotes are stock items for us.
Cadillac DeVille Key Replacement
Classic DeVilles are VATS country: the resistor-pellet keys Cadillac pioneered in the late 80s run through the 90s fleet, with PK3 transponders taking over around 2000. VATS keys come in 15 pellet values, and cutting one correctly requires measuring the original circuit — equipment we still carry when most shops have thrown theirs out.
DeVille owners are long-term owners, and we help keep these cars driving: correct VATS keys cut on site, worn ignition and door cylinders rebuilt rather than replaced when originality matters, and spares made before the last key becomes a museum piece.
Last VATS key for the DeVille is nearly worn out? Bring us in now — we measure, cut and verify at the car. Fleetwood, Eldorado, Seville too? Same era, same systems — yes.
Cadillac Key Replacement Cost in Las Vegas
Our published rate for replacement car keys is $89–450 depending on year and key type — Cadillac fobs sit in the upper half of that range — and the price is quoted in full before a technician is dispatched. That's usually well under dealer pricing, with no tow on top. See the complete price list or our automotive locksmith service page.
