Infiniti Key Types We Cut & Program

Infiniti runs Nissan's NATS immobilizer with Intelligent Key push-button start across almost the whole lineup since the mid-2000s. We program Infiniti proximity fobs and cut their emergency blades on site, including when every key is lost.

Infiniti Key Replacement by Model

Infiniti G35 Key Replacement

The G35 (2003–2008) straddles two key systems: earlier cars use NATS chip keys with separate remotes, while 2005+ coupes and sedans increasingly carry Infiniti's early Intelligent Key with push-button start. Both are still everywhere in the valley, and we stock both.

G35s are enthusiast cars now, which brings a particular problem: original fobs and keys passed through three owners and held together with tape. We replace them outright or make clean spares, and we sort out ignitions that got sloppy somewhere in the car's second decade.

G35 won't recognize the fob after a battery swap? Occasionally the fob needs re-registering — a few minutes at the van. Aftermarket alarm confusing things? We see it often on G35s; we diagnose which system is blocking the start.

Infiniti G37 Key Replacement

Essentially every G37 (2008–2013) runs Intelligent Key push-button start — the turn-key versions are rare fleet exceptions. The oval Infiniti fob hides an emergency blade we cut as part of any replacement, so you're never locked out by a dead fob battery.

Our steady G37 work is second fobs for used-car purchases and full replacements after a night out swallowed the only one. Programming happens at the car, including in parking garages — no tow to a dealer that books key appointments a week out.

Bought a G37 with one fob — priorities? A spare immediately; it converts a future $300+ emergency into a routine visit. Fob works intermittently? Battery first, then board — we test both before charging you for either.

Infiniti Q50 Key Replacement

The Q50 (2014 on) is Intelligent Key only, with remote start folded into the fob on most trims. Replacement fobs must be programmed to the car with proper equipment — which we bring to your location rather than making the Q50 come to us.

Q50 drivers reach us from the Strip corridor more than anywhere else — fobs left in hotel rooms, dropped between casino seats, gone into fountains. Whatever happened, the fix is the same: a new fob programmed at the car, usually within the hour.

Q50 fob in a hotel fountain — now what? Rice won't save a proximity fob; we program a replacement and you keep the old one as a souvenir. Red Sport same fob? Same platform, yes.

Infiniti QX60 Key Replacement

The QX60 family SUV has been push-button since launch (2013), with liftgate and remote-start functions on the fob growing each generation. One-fob households are the norm on used QX60s, and that's the situation we're most often called to fix.

We program QX60 spares in the driveway while the kids finish breakfast, and handle all-keys-lost with VIN-code service — NASTF-registered, manufacturer-direct data, no guessing. The QX60 never needs a flatbed for a key problem.

How long does a QX60 spare take? Usually 30–45 minutes at your location. Fob buttons fine but proximity unlock stopped? That's usually the fob's proximity antenna — we test it against a known-good fob on site.

Infiniti Key Replacement Cost in Las Vegas

Our published rate for replacement car keys is $89–450 depending on year and key type — Infiniti proximity fobs sit in the upper half of that range — and the price is quoted in full before a technician is dispatched. That's usually well under dealer pricing, with no tow on top. See the complete price list or our automotive locksmith service page.
